Albany flight nurse Jennifer Reckerd recently celebrated a career milestone – her 100th patient flight wings! Reckerd began working with Air Evac in November 2015, and the majority of her patient flights were completed in Brazil, Ind. She recently joined the Albany, Ky., base. Reckerd came to Air Evac Lifeteam with 12 years of nursing experience, including 10 years in the ER.
Serving the people in her home and work community is the best part of her job, Reckerd said.
“I love being able to make a difference in the lives of our patients!” she said. “I also love the people who work for Air Evac – they are high-caliber individuals and have taught me so much.”
Reckerd credited her parents, Joe and Janice Redenbarger, and her daughter, Mallory, with helping her to achieve her dream of becoming a flight nurse.
