Egypt Christian Church Fall Festival


The Egypt Christian Church ladies group will sponsor a Fall Festival on Sat., Oct. 4, from 4 to 8pmCT in the church fellowship hall.  There will be a silent auction of themed baskets, a cake & pie auction, cake walks, face painting, and food available including country ham sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, etc.

Caldwell Chapel Revival Begins Oct. 17


Caldwell Chapel Church will start a revival on Oct.17-? Services begin nightly at 6:00 p.m. CT. Bro. Craig Huddleston will be the evangelist.The Pastor is Bro. Darrin Blair.

 

"Down On The Farm" Tent Revival

A "Down on the Farm" Tent Revival will be held at the home of Bobby & Lisa Withers at 911 Milltown Church Road  on Wed., October 1st - Sun., October 5, at 6:00 p.m. nightly.

Wed., Oct.1, Bro. Adam Hill from the gospel group "Driven" will be preaching and the Spirituals will be singing

Thurs., Oct. 2, Bro. Junior Milby will be preaching and the Spirituals will be singing

Fri., Oct. 3, Bro. Mike Helm will be preaching and his group will be singing

Sat., Oct. 4, Bro. Bobby Withers will be preaching

Sun., Oct. 5, Bro. Gary Daughtery will be preaching

 

Benefit Auction & Soup Supper Oct. 17

A Benefit Auction and Soup Supper for Jeremy & Hanna Durbin will be held on Fri., Oct. 17, at 5:00 p.m. CST at the old Knifley Grade School.

 
Jeremy and Hanna are the proud parents of Maddox Durbin. Maddox and Hanna had some medical issues that caused an early birth. He was born 25 weeks into Hanna’s pregnancy. Maddox is currently residing at UK Hospital and is improving each day. Jeremy and Hanna are staying in Lexington to be close to Maddox.  

Any donations of auction items would greatly be appreciated! Drop off smaller items at Patterson’s Bait and Grocery in Knifley. Larger Items can be dropped off at B.J. Bray’s residence @ 814 Union Church Rd in Casey Creek or bring donations with you the night of the event.

 

Free Tipping Oct. 24 & 25

 

Free-Tipping will be offered at the Transfer Station on L. Willis Road in Adair Co. on Fri. Oct. 24, from 7:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. and on Sat., Oct. 25, form 7:00 a.m. till 12 Noon.  This is an excellent opportunity for Adair Co. residents to dispose of unwanted items and materials.
 

ITEMS THAT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED:

Tires, nothing hazardous, dirt, rock, concrete, burn barrels, steel cable, capacitors, lumber, no tanks

Note: Paint will only be accepted if it has been dried with sand/or cat litter.

Any items deemed unacceptable will be turned away and personnel will be on-site to help with unloading.  

Free-Tipping is ONLY for residents of Adair County.
