The Adair County Choral and Drama Departments have teamed up to create --- Halloween Night: A Murder Mystery Production --- their first performance of the year is being held at the Adair County High School Cafeteria on the evening of October 27th starting at 6:00 pm.
Admission is $5.00 at the door. Both groups have worked hard to create something the community can be proud of and they look forward to seeing you there.
The Lindsey Wilson College Concert Choir will present “A Musical Potpourri” 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, at Columbia Baptist Church.

There will be an Adair County High School Baseball Chili Supper & Auction on Fri., Oct. 24 at 6:00 p.m. at Trinity Life Center. There will be a Live & Silent Auction.
The cost is $10 per couple; $15 per family. Purchase tickets from any player.

A Benefit Bean/Soup Dinner, Auction & Gospel Singing will be held for Curtis & Mary Grant on Sat., Nov. 8, at 3:00 p.m. at the Columbia Nazarene Church Wheet Fellowship Hall on Jamestown Street.
A $5 donation includes a bowl of soup/beans, desert and drink. The bean and soup dinner will start at 3:00 p.m. and go throughout the night with an auction starting at 4:30 p.m. and singing by "The Master's Four" starting at 6:30 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Beechgrove Separate Baptist Church with all proceeds going to Curtis Grant for medical expenses. Curtis had a very serious dirt bike wreck on Sept 27th.

Trinity United Methodist Church is offering a Food Pantry to Adair County residents who are elderly (65 years of age and over) or disabled (certfied disabilites).
The food pantry will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10:00 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. at the church Fellowship Hall.
To participate, please call the church office at 270-384-3259 during regular hours from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon Tuesday through Friday. Those signed up will be served first.
