The Adair Heritage Society, Adair Genealogical Society, Adair County Public Library, and Jane Lampton Chapter Daughters of American Revolution are sponsoring the 3rd Annual History- Genealogy Book Fair & Sale on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will be held in conjunction with the Downtown Days Festival in the Historic Adair County Courthouse.

The Adair County Animal Hospital in collaboration with the Lake Cumberland District Health Department is having a rabies clinic October 6-11 at the Adair County Animal Hospital, located at 2004 Campbellsville Road in Columbia. The public is invited to Victory Community Church's ADO Program (Alcohol Drug Outreach Program) each Fri. night at 6:30pm at the church at 107 Reed Street, Columbia. This is an outreach program for anyone battling any addiction. On Fri., Oct. 3rd, the speaker will be Kelly Estes.

The Adair County Knife Club has a Knife Swap & Auction at the Columbia Masonic basement on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday nights of each month. Doors open at the 3:00 p.m. and the auction begins at 5:00 p.m. There is a $2:00 admission fee and there are tables where you can set up with your knives.
