A "Knifley Homecoming & Festival" will be held on Friday, Sept. 11 & Saturday, Sept.12, 2015.
On Friday, events include a Children’s Pageant & Gospel Singing by the group "Driven" at Olde Town Café.
On Saturday, there will be a Pancake Breakfast from 7-9am at the Knifley Fire Dept., a 5K Run/Walk at 8:00 a.m. at the Knifley Crossroads. Activities from 8am till Dusk including: Wagon Rides, Craft & Food vendors, Knifley Historical display, Gospel & Bluegrass Singing, a Classic Car & Tractor Show. FREE activities for the kids including Face Painting, Petting Zoo, Train Rides, Inflatables and more. There will be a Concert and Fireworks Display at dusk.
A revival (that began Sunday, Aug. 2) is underway this week at Well's Chapel Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. nightly. The pastor is Dennie Copas.
Gradyville Baptist Church will have it's 3rd Annual Community Fish Fry on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015. Jumpy House and Kids Games will start at 2:00 p.m. with food served from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.. Lifeline's annual poker run at Gateway Park in Casey County is Saturday, August 22nd. Sign ups will start at 9:00 am est. They will leave the park at 10:00 am est. the price is $15.00 per Bike extra rider is $5.00. There will be door prizes, 50/50 draw, and food after the ride. All proceeds are going to relay for life. Campbellsville University Tiger and Lady Tiger Golf will be hosting a fundraiser Scramble on Saturday Aug. 8th with a shot gun start @ 1:00 pm The Scramble is being held at Old Bridge in Danville, KY Prizes are 1st, 8th, and second to last place team members, Closest to pin on par 3"s, and Longest Drive.
