Family looses everything in fire

The family of Felicia Wooldridge, 1047 Breeding Loop,
Breeding Ky lost everything they own last night in a
house fire including Christmas Presents for her 2year
old daughter, Rhionnia.  Felicia wears size 7/9 Jeans,
Medium top, and size 10 shoes; her daughter Rhionnia
wears 4t clothes, and a size 10 shoe.  Donations may
be dropped off at Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer Office,

County Office Closings

County Office Holiday Closures
The offices located in the Adair County Annex,
424 Public Square, Columbia, Ky. will be closed
Friday, Dec. 23-Monday, Dec. 26, 2016 to allow
county employees the opportunity to celebrate
Christmas with their families. This closure includes
the following: Judge Executive Michael Stephens'
office, Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer's office, the
Adair County Sheriff's Dept., County Attorney Jennifer
Hutchison-Corbin's office, the office of Jeff Feese, PVA,
the Green River Animal Shelter, and the Adair County
Recycling Center. The 911 Center will be closed for the
same time period, but will continue its 24-hour service
for dispatching emergency calls.
The same schedule will apply for Friday, Dec. 29-Monday,
Jan. 2, 2016 to allow employees to enjoy the New Year's
holiday with their families.

Dec. 9th Fill the Cruiser

Cash Express is hosting "Fill the Cruiser for Christmas"
the Adair Co. SheriffDept. has parked a cruiser at
Tractor Supply parking lot with the trunk left ope for
everyone to drop off their donations. At 11:30 Cash
Express will be serving pizza, cupcakes and hot chocolate.
This event will be running from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. 

Trinity UMC Christmas Musical Dec. 11th

The children and youth at Trinity United Methodist
Church will present a lively Christmas Musical titled
“Special Delivery” this Sunday evening, December 11th,
at 6:00 p.m.  Everyone is invited to come see a shy
angel bring word to Mary.



Benefit Auction Dec. 17th

D&D Variety on 210 Main St. will hold a benefit
auction for Robert Farmer Jr. to cover funeral
expenses. Soup & Chili will be served at 4 p.m.
and auction will start at 6 p.m.
