Journey To Recovery Dec. 2nd Speaker

Jason Mullins will be this weeks guest speaker
at Journey to Recover on December 2nd. 


2016 Annual Adair County Christmas Community Event

U.S. Civil Corps LLC, The Dream Depot and
Cash Express will be hosting the Annual Christmas
Community Event for those in need in Adair County.
This event is for those that do not have the
opportunity to partake in a Christmas meal, socialize
with others during this Christmas season or who are
unable to provide toys for their children.
 
This event will held on December 17th from 5pm – 7 pm
at the Trinity United Methodist Church Family Center at
2418 Campbellsville Road
. During this event community
leaders we will provide; a hot Christmas meal, live singing,
gifts for the children at the event, and a live reading of the
Christmas Story. If you know of a family in need this
Christmas season, please encourage them, support them,
and bring them to this event.
 
If you would like to help, please donate to the
Toy Drive for the Children. You can drop off your
toys at Grimsley’s Jewelry or Columbia Pawn until
December 14th at 5 pm.


 
 

Community Blood Drive

Adair County Community Blood Drive will be
held Tuesday Dec. 6th from 12 noon until
5 p.m. at the Columbia Church of Christ in
the Fellowship Hall at 501 Jamestown St. in
Columbia. Donors must be 17 years old
(16 with parental consent) weigh at least 110
pounds, be in general hood health, show a
photo i.D> and meet additional requirements.
16 year old donors must have a signed parental
permission slip, which can be found at
kybloodcenter.org     


Pickett's Chapel and Tarter's Chapel "Journey to the Manger"

Pickett's Chapel & Tarter's Chapel Churches will
be performing their Live Drive Thru Nativity titled
" Journey to the Manger" on December 2nd, 3rd,
and 4th from 6:00 p.m. -9:00 p.m. (CT) The
churches are located in the Portland Community
of Adair County, KY. For directions or more

"Drop Your Draws" Campaign

Be a Super Hero just like Captain Underpants and
donate new undies, boys and girls sizes 4-16 to the
"DROP YOUR DRAWS" Campaign here at the Adair
County Public Library.  During the season of giving
and thandfulness, you can help our public library
provide needed  new underwear in sizes 4-16 for
boys and girls in our community by just "dropping
your drawers" at the library now through Dec. 31st.
Underwear is distributed throu our Family Resource
and Youth Services Centers.
