Old Concord UMC Homecoming


Homecoming services will be held at Old Concord Methodist Church in Columbia on Sun., Sept. 28 at 10:00 a.m. The Sneed Family will be singing and a potluck meal will be served at noon.

 

Melson Ridge Church Fish Fry/Raffle


Melson Ridge Church will have a Fish Fry & Raffle on Saturday, Sept. 27th.  The cost is $7.00 per plate. For more info. call 270-566-2862.

 

Community Revival Sept. 29 - Oct. 5

 

A Community Revival with 7 churches will be held in southern Adair County beginning, Monday, Sept. 29 - Sunday Oct. 5, at 6:30 pm nightly. Services will be held at a different church with a different speaker each night.

Thursday, Oct. 2: Bro. Larry Lemmon will be preaching at Harrodsfork Baptist Church

Friday, Oct. 3: Bro. Darrell Landis will be preaching at Redlick United Methodist Church

Bybee Family Needs Assistance Due To Fire

 


An Adair County family lost everything in a mobile home fire on Fri. night, Sept. 19th, at 711 Mack Street. The Ethel Bybee family lost all their possessions and clothing.  Also staying with Ethel was her daughter and her family. 


The following items are needed if anybody would like to make a donation to this family.

Operation Christmas Child Speakers at Mt Carmel UMC

 


Angelia Seng and Grace Arnold will share their passion to change the lives of orphans and children around the world thru the Samaritaint's Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 11:00 a.m.  

Angela is a recording artist from Elizabethtown.  Her recent single, "Boxes Made for Shoes," was inspired from the shoebox ministry.  Grace, a CU junior, is from Campbellsville and has volunteered at the Boone, North Carolina Shoebox Distribution Center with her parents numerous times.
