Adair County High School is now accepting applications for the parent members of the site-base council for the 2016-2017 school year. Applications can be picked up in the front office at the high school. Please see Annette Slaven. There will be three days Adair County residents can dispose of tires.... May 5 & 6 from 7am-4pmCT, and May 7th from 7am-12pmNoonCT, at the Kentucky Highway Department, 103 Service Road, Columbia, KY. Personnel will be on hand to help unload. All tires (including those with rims) will be accepted.
Foam filled tires, off-road equipment tires and solid tires with pressed rims WILL NOT be accepted.

• The Adair County Board of Elections will examine voting machines on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in the basement of the Adair Annex
• Absentee Voting for the May 17th Primary Election will begin on Tuesday April 26th, at 12:00 p.m. CST in the office of Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer.
• The Adair County Board of Elections will meet for a Regular Monthly Meeting on Thursday, April 28th, at 10:00 a.m. in the office of Adair County Clerk Lisa Greer in the Adair Annex.
• Tuesday, May 10th, 2016 is the last day for any voter to apply for a mail-in absentee ballot (not later than close of business 7 days before the primary). Applications must be received by this day.
Adair County 911 is continueing the campaign to get more Reflective Addressing in our area.
911 is taking orders for "Reflective Address Markers." These are large, easy-to-read reflective address markers to be placed at your driveway entrance so First Responders can find your address in the event of an emergency.
