Downtown Days 2017

Its’ almost that time of the year again, Downtown Day! The Downtown Days Festival will be held Friday, October 13th and Saturday, October 14th on the Square in Columbia. Join us for Craft & Arts Vendors, Pageants, 5K, Live music, Lots of Food Vendors, Kids' Fun Run, 'Square'crow Contest, and Live music Friday night and all day Saturday All leading up to a FREE concert on Saturday night with CMA Female Vocalist Of The Year Recipient and Grand Ole Opry Member, Pam Tillis. Light House Church Service

Brother Brice Hutt will be preaching at The Light House Church on October 6-8th. There will be special singing each night, Brother Joe Milby will be singing in the Friday night service. Service times are 6pm on Friday and Saturday. Sunday service will be at 10am and 5pm on Sunday. The Church is located on Old Glasgow Road in Horse Cave.


Chili Cook Off

The Knifley and Columbia/Adair Co. fire department is hosting a chili cook off with some of the surrounding emergency responders. All proceeds will go to WHAS Crusade for Children October 14th from 5-7pm CST at teh Adair County Fire Department on 200 Merchant Street in Columbia. All you can eat chili, soup, crackers, cornbread, dessert and drink for $7. There will be independent judges there to judge the chili. For more details call 502-715-1785.

10th Annual Wish List Event

The Ronald McDonald 10th Annual Wish List Event will be held Tuesday, October 10th from 3-6pm at the Chamber of Commerce Building on 201 Burkesville Street. BBQ Cook Off

Cooking with Christ BBQ Cookoff will be held October 7th from 7am-2pm at Glasgow First Church of the Nazarene. Hot dogs will be $1 Hamburgers $2 Chips $1 and Drinks $1. There will also be a cornhole tournament. For more information call 270-670-1979.
