Bear Wallow Cemetery Committee will be hosting a meeting in the basement of Bear Wallow Church on April 28th at 6:00 p.m.
The Columbia Church of Christ Food Pantry will be open on every third Thursday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Extended School Services in Adair Co.
Adair County High School is fortunate to offer extended school services this year for every student free of charge. The school system will be accepting teacher and parent recommendations for students who are at risk of failing, who need to attain a credit in a previously failed course, who need additional time to learn the content presented in the classroom, or who need to make up a quiz or test.

The Bank of Columbia's "Relay for Life" team is taking order's for Derby Pies!
These pies will be homemade and available for pick up on Friday, May 2nd. The cost is $14 each and orders must be received by Wednesday, April 30th. The pies may be picked up at the Bank of Columbia on the Public Square during the Bank’s "Relay For Life" Bake Sale.
"Fly Me To The Moon, An Evening Of Jazz" presented by the Hillary Hadley Memorial Scholarship Fund, will be held on Fri., April 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the Columbia/Adair Co. Airport, at 635 Country Club Road.
There will be performances by the Adair County High School Jazz Band, The Lindsey Wilson College Jazz Band, Larry Nelson Asst. Professor of Saxophone & Jazz studies at Eastern Ky. Univ. There will be a silent auction with Hors d'oeuvres & drinks served. For more info. call Inette Goodin at 270-634-0101.
The annual Roadside Clean-up is in May. Non-profit organizations in Adair County can earn extra cash ($50 per mile up to 3 miles) by picking up litter from Adair County’s roadsides next month.

The following information will be needed:
• Name of group
• Number in group
• The name of the road that you will be cleaning and/or we can help you select a road that will be good for your group’s age level.
Before the day of your clean-up, stop by the office and pick up the following items:
• Trash bags
• Forms; waivers, form to receive payment, etc.,
• Vests are to be returned to the office after clean-up with paperwork
