A Taylor Co. man has been arrested for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card and Theft by Unlawful Taking.
21 year old Alexander Bussear of Campbellsville was arrested by the Taylor Co. Sheriff's Dept. and lodged in the Taylor Co. Detention Center after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
On Dec. 26, 2013 the Taylor Co. Sheriff's Office received a complaint concerning someone fraudulently using a credit card owned by another person. Following an investigation, video footage was obtained showing Bussear using the credit card at several ATM's in Taylor County. It was also discovered that Bessear had stolen three silver coins from the same person. The coins were located at a Taylor Co. Pawn shop. Last month (Feb.), a warrant was issued for Bussear charging him with 8 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card and the theft of the coins.
On Wednesday, Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes greeted and helped honor the inaugural class of the Kentucky Veterans Hall of Fame. The organization inducted 27 veterans, including Adair County native and Greensburg High School graduate Dakota Meyer, and Walter D. Huddleston, former U.S. Senator with many relatives in the Adair, Taylor, Green, and Metcalfe Counties, into the hall of fame in a ceremony in Frankfort.
The inaugural class represents service in five foreign conflicts and over 200 years of combined military service. Seven of the veterans earned Purple Heart medals. Four men inducted have been awarded Medals of Honor.
