Funeral services will be held on Wed. for one of two duck hunters who went missing over the weekend in Green County.
77-year old Harold Wethington of Liberty and 57-year-old Larry Stokes of Somerset, were found in the Green River over the weekend.
Search and rescue crews recovered Wethington's body Saturday afternoon. Stokes' body was found on Sunday around 10 a.m.
The coroner says both men drowned. Emergency management says when they found the hunter's boat on Saturday, it was still intact and structurally sound. It's not clear what happened to cause the tragic accident.
Services for Wethington will be at Bartle Funeral Home in Casey County. Visitation is today (Tuesday) from 5-9 p.m. with the funeral on Wednesday at 1 p.m. According to the obituary, Wethington was a fishing & hunting guide and a gate salesman. His wife survives, Eva Wethington and a brother Gerald Wethington of Liberty.
There is no word yet on arrangements for Stokes.
The vehicle stolen from Amazon in Campbellsville, Ky. over the weekend has been located by law enforcement in Pulaski County. The owner reportedly resides in Adair Co. No other details are available at this time.
