PRESTONBURG, Ky. — The Lindsey Wilson men’s golf team sits in first place following the first of two rounds at the UPIKE Fall Invitational at Stonecrest Golf Course.
The No. 24 Blue Raiders shot a team total 290 in today’s round for a two-over par score. Cumberlands (Ky.) finished the day in second with a five over 293, as Cumberland, Midway and Georgetown are all tied for third at six-over par. Campbellsville, Shawnee State and Pikeville round out the standings.
Callum Blinkhorn is tied for first in the 45-man field with a one-round total 69, 3-under par.
Lindsey Wilson’s Etienne Rensburg and Callum Burns are locked in a six way tie for tenth place after both carded a 1-over par 73. Cody Mingus is tied for 21st with a 3-over par 75.
Jeremiah Hayes rounded out the Blue Raiders official scores, posting a 7-over par 79.
Morgan Grace competed as an individual at the event scoring a 5-over par round.
The final round of the UPIKE Fall Invitational is scheduled for Sunday at the Stonecrest Golf Course.
