From Mike Keltner, Director of Adair County Emergency Management:
Multiple trees have been reported down and roadways cleared starting at Cane Valley Mill Rd. heading due East impacting Cane Valley Rd., the Beechtop Rd. area, Mt. Carmel Rd. and the Holmes Bend Rd area.
Several barns and outbuildings are damaged near Mt Carmel Rd. and Holmes Bend Intersection.
Several single trees have been reported down and cleared on White Oak Church Rd., Greensburg Rd. and Knifley Rd.
The National Weather Service has not confirmed a site visit, but a visit has been mentioned on NWS Chat.
Please use caution during the morning commute as unknown hazards or work crews may be present.
Adair Co warning sirens were sounded Monday night for multiple Tornado Warnings issued by the NWS.
The warnings as of 10:48PM were just north of Columbia.
A decision was made to sound all sirens as the warning indicated area was partially in the city limits.
